ViroForce Systems Inc. has developed an innovative and cost-effective solution to the growing and costly problem of disinfecting rooms in cruise ships, long-term health care facilities, hospitals, medical clinics, hotels and other spaces susceptible to the numerous devastating viruses and bacteria that are becoming a daily global occurrence. Laboratory and in-field tests (third-party test - MRSA and Norovirus to date) have proven that ViroForce can effectively disinfect and eradicate: Calicivirus, Norovirus, Corona Virus, Influenza Virus, H1N1, Rhinovirus, Poliovirus, Herpes Simplex Virus, C. Difficile and MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) and numerous other bacteria and fungi.

Eliminates Viruses and Bacteria
ViroForce has demonstrated in laboratory experiments that it can kill more than 99.9% of each of the following viruses:

  • Calicivirus (feline strain, a relative of the Norovirus)
  • Norovirus
  • Corona virus (mouse strain, a relative of the SARS virus)
  • Influenza virus (related to H1N1)
  • Rhinovirus (common cold virus)
  • Poliovirus
  • Herpes Simplex virus

ViroForce Systems has also demonstrated the technology is effective against C. difficile and MRSA (Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus Aureus) and numerous other bacteria and fungi. It can also be used in disinfecting against the H5N1 Avian flu, should it mutate to create a human flu pandemic.

If the ViroForce technology were implemented, it is anticipated savings would be over US$9.3B per annum. The company has received written notification from the US FDA that registration for the sale of the product into the US health care industry is not required.
